Did you know that July is Small Business Month and this week is Arizona Locals First Week? That makes it the perfect time for my television debut on Arizona's morning show, Sonoran Living Live. The opportunity came about as a result of my press kit that caught the producer's eye. They really work! I may have to move to Hollywood now.

A couple of weeks ago I joined Wedding Wire to get information on Kustom Kissers in front of brides. Little did I know what a valuable tool it would be! Not only are brides buying my personalized lip balm, other wedding vendors are too. It has provided the opportunity to meet folks all over the country who are far more knowledgable about navigating the event planning industry than I am.
Each vendor is allotted space to create their own profile by uploading photos, describing their talents, etc. and their happens to be a slot to create and upload a commercial. I've never created a commerical before, and their tool seemed easy enough so I gave it a whirl. After getting all my photos and text in the proper order, it was time to choose the audio track. The limited options included the wedding march, sappy love songs and instrumental stuff that would put the viewers to sleep. Bummer. I was looking for something fun to go with my hot pink vibe.
Next I turned to Windows Live Movie Maker (remember, I'm a beginner). I recreated the video, which was more complicated than the Wedding Wire tool by the way. It was time for audio again. Turns out you have to find and upload your own in this program. Double bummer. Somewhere I heard that YouTube provides free audio tracks, so off I went. Hours later, I present the first Kustom Kissers commercial.
